60 miles south from Miami, you will find Key Largo, the first island in the Florida Keys and is the largest section of the Keys (33 miles long). It's a great weekend getaway destination with activities such as: kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and many more. Here you will find Key Largo Kampground & Marina tucked away but not too far from all the conveniences. We got to stay at this campground for Father Day weekend. Here is our review with the pros and cons.
First, let get some numbers.

Pros:
*Beautiful water view
*Easy access for fishing, boating, snorkeling, jet skiing, etc.
*Convenience location, next to a big shopping center with Kmart, Publix, restaurants, John Pennekamp State Park (1 mile away)
*There's a tikki hut and picnic table at each waterfront RV site.
*Not too far from mainland (25 mins away)
Cons:
*Narrow street. It was a mission to back in our 32 foot camper (specially at site 99 because there's an electric pole right in the middle of the street).
*Street in front some camp sites get flooded when it's rain.
*Water at the beach is questionable (dark and smelly).
*Bring bug spray, there lots of no-see-ums.
*Maximum 6 people per campsite. This is Florida Keys rule and apply to all campgrounds. If you have 7 people, you would have to get 2 sites.
